NORTH ADAMS -- The Northern Berkshire community will once again gather together to discuss important issues facing its residents. On Friday, Feb. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at the First Baptist Church in North Adams, nbCC’s monthly forum will focus on the challenges of being an underserved community for primary care medical services. Our community is currently facing challenges recruiting primary care physicians.
What to expect: Learn about the primary care physician shortage in the community. Learn what can be done right now to assist in recruiting physicians. Learn about the role of Physician Assistants in providing primary health care.
The forum will begin with a round of introductions followed by brief announcements of your upcoming events or new projects. Please bring flyers about events and announcements as there will be a table available for sharing.
Attendees should use the church’s Eagle Street entrance. Also note that the organizers of the Friendship Center Food Pantry at 43 Eagle Street ask friends who attend the nbCC forums to please bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the pantry.
