It is understandable that with all the publicity regarding the FEMA grant for the purchase of the park and relocation of The Spruces residents that many people are curious to see the layout of the park as it stands now.
We welcome people into our community to gain a better understanding of what has happened here. However, along with this increase in traffic we have experienced nonresidents wandering through our yards, digging up plants, fishing in the pond and going in and out of abandoned homes and taking items from yards.
We have been told by some of these people that the town was closing the park anyways so what did it matter if they were there or if things were taken. It matters simply because these are still our homes and we have a right to a certain amount of privacy.
Please respect the fact that we are still here and some of us will most likely be here for a few more years even after the ownership of land changes.
