It may seem as if we have spent the entire last 10 months going to the polls, what with primaries, a presidential election, town elections, special elections. Well, it isn't over yet. The League of Women Voters would like to remind everyone that there is still another election, on June 25, to fill the seat last held by John Kerry. The position of U.S. Senator is one that can have a great impact on our local community as well as the national stage. Just because this election is not for a full term doesn't make it irrelevant. We urge everyone to become familiar with the candidates and go to vote on June 25.
