The Secret World of Bubbles

ADAMS -- At 6 p.m., on Oct. 25, the Adams Free Library invites patrons to learn a lot from a bubble. "The Secret World of Bubbles" is a program packed with state-of-the-art bubble sculptures that will amaze you. Children and families of all ages are invited to attend. Multicultural Center

WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Williams College Multicultural Center is being rededicated as the Davis Center in honor of pioneering scholars and activists W. Allison Davis ‘24 and John A. Davis ‘33. A campus-wide celebration of the rededication will include a series of events on Friday, Oct. 19, and Saturday, Oct. 20. WCMA at Night

WILLIAMSTOWN --Experiment with the Williams College Museum of Art as it launches WCMA at Night, an evening series of happenings with music, food, dancing and more, on the third Thursday of most months from 5 to 9 p.m. The first WCMA at Night event, "Drawing on the Walls" will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 5 to 9 p. m. Boo Bash

NORTH ADAMS -- The Residence Area Advisory Boards and the Center for Service and Citizenship at MCLA will host the 18th annual "Boo Bash" for children and their parents on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Berkshire Towers dormitory building will feature a decorated entrance, trick or treating, and a costume party for the expected crowd. Berkshire Towers is located on Church Street, across the street from Murdock Hall. Children from ages 6 to 11 are encouraged to come, accompanied by a parent, or guardian. ‘Words are Wonderful’

WILLIAMSTOWN -- Thanks in part to funding by the Friends of the Milne Library and coordination by Lauren Gotlieb and the talented folks behind "Words Are Wonderful," graphic artist and author George O’Connor will be giving a two-hour workshop at the Milne Public Library on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 10:30 a.m. Registration is required and limited the ages to 9 to 15 years.
