Kudos and much appreciation to your news reporter, Alex Elvin. It is difficult to publish a weekly paper in the presence of a daily covering the same local area. But you are on the right course with Alex. The last several issues of the Advocate have been excellent. Alex has taken current topics of interest and concern to Williamstown residents and has summarized the background events, researched the facts, interviewed those involved and reported in a concise, interesting, well written manner. He has grasped local issues regarding affordable housing, the Spruces, contaminated soil remediation problems, and the Store at Five Corners. This week he featured Billstock III. (I never understood what that was all about - and now I know and look forward to supporting it). Thanks also to your "contributors," and this week's "Community Forum" is both a unique and welcome addition. After all, not everyone partakes of social media! Keep up the good work. And again, many thanks to Alex for his excellent reporting.
