WILLIAMSTOWN -- WilliNet-TV has organized "A Community Conversation about Affordable Housing in Williamstown with Municipal Committee Members,’ Wednesday, April 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mount Greylock Regional High School Meeting Room.
Citizens are encouraged to attend and ask questions of the committee members who have been discussing this important issue.
Adam Filson will be the Moderator and the conversation will be cablecast live on WilliNet’s Channel 16.
Panelists include David Rempell, Chair of Board of Selectmen, Cathy Yamamoto, Chair of Affordable Housing Committee, Beth Phelps, Chair of Agriculture Commission, Hank Art, Chair of Conservation Commission, Anne McCallum, Chair of Planning Board, Mark Reinhardt, Chair of Williamstown Housing Authority, Brian O’Grady, Director of Council on Aging, and representatives from the Affordable Housing Trust and Community Preservation Committee. Town Manager Peter Fohlin will also attend at the behest of the Selectmen.
The goal of the event is to offer citizens the opportunity to ask questions of the various Committees that have been discussing affordable housing in Williamstown and to become better informed about the issues involved with the articles to be voted on at both the Special Town Meeting on April 24 at 7:30 p.
