WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Williams College Museum of Art presents "11 Reasons to Become and Investment Banker," an exhibition by Williams College senior art majors, on view from May 10 through June 2. The show features the work of 11 studio art students.
The senior studio exhibition celebrates the culmination of each artist’s senior project and will open with a free, public reception on Friday, May 10 at the museum, beginning at 7 p.m. All are invited to attend.
The work draws inspiration from diverse sources, exploring such far ranging issues as: black male identity, dreamscapes, marginalized urban dwellers, astrophysics, personal spirituality, order and chaos, experiences, suspension of disbelief, nature, carnival atmospheres, and storytelling.
The Williams College Museum of Art is located on Main Street. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.. The museum is wheelchair accessible and open to the public. Admission is free.
